Welcome to Mapyness. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Mapyness is a web-based service that allows you to generate custom SVG maps from geospatial data. The service includes features for customizing map styles, adding markers, applying masks, and exporting high-quality SVG files suitable for laser cutting, printing, and other applications.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, accuracy of map data, or suitability for any particular purpose.

2. Account and Authentication

To use Mapyness, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and store the following information:

• Email address: Required for authentication and account management
• Usage data: Maps generated, credits consumed, and general service usage

Email Usage: Your email address is used solely for authentication purposes. We will not send you marketing emails or share your email with third parties unless you explicitly consent to receive product updates and promotional content during sign-up.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Mapyness only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users
• Use the service for malicious purposes or to distribute malware
• Use automated systems to access the service without authorization
• Attempt to overload or disrupt our servers

5. Credits and Payment

Mapyness operates on a credit-based system. Each map generation consumes a certain number of credits. New users receive an initial credit allocation. Additional credits may be purchased or earned through promotions.

We reserve the right to modify credit costs, allocation amounts, and pricing at any time.

Credits are non-refundable and have no monetary value. They cannot be transferred or exchanged.

6. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any maps you create using Mapyness. However, the underlying map data is sourced from third-party providers (such as OpenStreetMap) and may have its own licensing terms.

By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your generated maps for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Maps generated using Mapyness may require attribution to data sources. Please review the attribution requirements of the underlying map data before commercial use.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Illegal or fraudulent activity
• Abuse of the service or other users
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mapyness and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
